The Cool Cat Creative Story

Meet Our Top Graphic Designers and Our Senior Graphic Designer

Our top graphic designers include, Zoltan “Z” Janosi and his wife, Jennifer Janosi. I keep them around because they give me kitty treats and the occasional dish of milk. Oh, also, because they’re good designers.

Z created Cool Cat Creative, LLC (formerly Theta Design, LLC) in 2001 in Budapest, Hungary.

His purpose of putting more life and aesthetics into the world, one job at a time, and bringing increased success to his clients, led to his own success as a graphic designer. (Of course, he wouldn’t have gotten anywhere without my purrrfect management skills.)

Anyway, at the end of 2004, he decided to return to the United States where he had previously lived for 8 years. (I can tell you I did not enjoy that 8-hour flight in a cat carrier.)

He has since continued to produce high-quality and creative graphic design, printing and sign products, along with my guidance, for his international clientele.

That clientele ranges anywhere from a top-notch dentist in New York to a hard-working handyman in Los Angeles to an effective debt negotiation company in Clearwater, FL to a furniture company in Budapest, Hungary.

Jennifer joined the Cool Cat Creative team back in 2005 when she and Z married. I tolerate her because she knows how to scratch me in just the right spot behind my ears and under my chin.

She had apprenticed under a talented graphic designer and fine artist back in the days when graphic design art was all still done by hand. Z and I introduced her to computer graphic design. She caught on quickly, learning the programs and applying her hands-on and fine art knowledge to the world of computer graphic design. Although she’s not as good with a mouse as I am, she does a good job.

Of course, I, Cool Cat, am the Senior Graphic Designer. Z and Jennifer know full well that they would be lost without me.

I’ve been with Z for a long time – longer than the company has been around even. When Z created a rock climbing harness he decided to create a logo for it, just as he saw on all of the other harnesses around. He had always admired the light-footed agility of cats, so, he asked me to pose for him. I agreed and he drew me standing confidently on top of a mountain.

When Z created his graphic design company, he wanted a playful logo. So, he asked me to pose for him again. This time he drew me with one paw creatively placing paw prints on a paper. He later changed the company name to Cool Cat Creative, LLC. He decided to freshen up the logo and drew me playing with a mouse – a computer mouse, that is.

Besides being the playful inspiration for his logo, I’ve also played a large role as the Senior Graphic Designer. I give them positive guidance, such as, “Now scratch behind my other ear.” This makes them happy, and so, they are able to effectively get their work done.

Cool Cat Creative offers a variety of services and products: website design, search engine marketing, logo design, printing services, custom signs and car graphics.
